SEA OTTER FISHING OPEN BOAT AND PRIVATE CHARTERS
631 668-2669 www.seaotterfishing.com SAILING 7 DAYS A WEEK FOR BLACKFISH!! 7AM-4PM NO RESERVATIONS! Week of 11/20 Mon 11/20 Minimum fares and over 100 keepers hitting the deck. Pat Taylor won the pool with his 10 1/2 pounder and he also had his limit. Tues 11/21 A bit slower today , with an average of 6 keepers per man. Mr. La took home a 10 1/2 pounder and th epool money! Wed 11/22 Very good action today. Mr. Choi was the pool winner today nabbing a 9 pounder to earn him the prize. Fri 11/24 The bite was off today thanks to the Thanksgiving blow. Very light crowd with an average of 5 fish per man. Bum Kim took the pool weighing in an 8 pounder. Sat 11/25 Slow fishing today with Mr. Park scoring the pool with a 6 pound tog. Sun 11/26 Improvement over yesterday. Rob Crane won the pool today with an 8 pound tog. PRIVATE CHARTERS: Sat 11/25 Jim Luccente and pals were out today for some terrific action. Some nicesea bass came over the rails as well as some begalls (cunner) to 4 pounds. Good tog bite with over 100 blackfish to 9 pounds. John was high hook and played catch and release with 2o. Sun 11/26 Frank Morelli and guys took advantage of the herring bite that started today and easily limited on striped bass to 20 pounds. Andrew caught his first striper ever and eneded up high hook with 6. Tony Morelli scored with 3. The guys also mixed it up with a finicky bite on tog. WEEK OF 11/14 Charters: Tues 11/14 Mark Novak had a crew back from Montenay for some striper and tog mixed bag action. Mike the "fly-swatter" and Mark tied with 4 keeprs a piece. Capt. Joel gave out a tog lesson and nailed an 11.2 pounder. They ended up with 14 keeper stripers and in under two hours nailed 30 nice blackfish. Wed 11/15 Jan Naftel and some pals were off to a very good start with some blackfish action with fish to 7 1/ 2pounds. Over 56 keepers boated. Open Boat: Tues 11/14 Excellent fishing today with over 100 fish landed with a small number of fares. It was a tag team effort for The Shin couple. The Mrs. nailed a 10 pounder while the Mr. was on fire with 23 keepers to his credit. Wed 11/15 Another good fishing day for tog lovers. Light crowd again but over 100 keepers boated. Nice mix of sea bass and some keepr cod. Paul Ryan nailed an 11.1 pounder to take th epool. Sat 11/18 The Atlantis Anglers took over Sea Otter V today for their annual tog lovers charter. Excellent action with over 250 keeper togs landed to 8 1/2 pounds. Some nice sea bass in the mix too. Sat night Light crowd tonite with an ok bite on stripers . Ben had the pool at 30 pounds. Sun 11/19 Terrific day today. Well over 300 keeper tog hitting the deck. Mr. Oh sealed th epool with a 10 pounder. Rob Crane had his limit to 8 1/ 2 pounds. Very good quality and plenty of limits taken. Get in on this great tog bite! We are now sailing 7 days a week for blackfish 7am-4pm - no reservations necessary! The boat picked up its limit with blackfish to 10 pounds! Thurs 11/9 High seas and a huge roll kept anglers on their toes but still a very decent pick of tog with some nice quality coming over the rails. Mark Niezabitowski won the pool with his 8 pounder. Fri 11/10 Great action with over 200 keeper blackfsih sailing over the rails. Enzo Brun had the pool honors with his 9 1/2 pound tog. Sat 11/11 Mike from East Coast Fishing had a group out today, taking over Sea Otter V for some red hot tog action. Awesome blackfishing with over 300 keepers nailed. Dean Halley of Team Taiwan won the pool with a 10.8 pound tog. Mr Koo was high hook with 11 fish. Sat nite bass: The boat had its limit tonite with the pool winner at 35 pounds. KathyKronuch swung 5 over the rails. Sun 11/12 Terrific fishing with the boat limiting out with tog to 11 pounds. Pool entrant Thomas Kim took home the money with a 9 1/2 pounder. There was also some sea bass and ling in the mix too. Charters: Mon 11/6 Jim Gleissner and pals were out today. The guys had their limit on bass to 28 pounds using live eels. They also had a bunch of bluefish come over the rails. Did a little blackfishing with Dave weighing in the biggest at 10 pounds. Wed 11/8 Jeff Shutkind and pals were out for a 1/2 day morning. Good time with everyone catching fish. Lots of Blues and a bunch of short bass on diamond jigs. 7 y/o Kyle, 10 y/o JP and 10 y/o Jack all caught bass on live eels helping the team limit out. JP had the pool at 25 pounds and Nick was high hook with 6 bass. Fri 11/12 Dave Duffy and his Nor'East crew had a terrific day of fishing and great weather. High hook was 18 keepers with the boat hauling over the rails close to 200 keeper tog to 10 pounds. Sat 11/11 Mr. Park and Rich had a good day of fishing today with their crew. Lot of action with around 150 keepers. Charlie was high hook with 20 keepers. Rich lee had the pool with an 11 pound tog but Mr. Kim was right behind him with his 10 1/2 pounder. Sun 11/12 Dave Stoler and the guys from UBS Financial were out today jigging and live eeling. Plenty of bluefish action. "Gold Diamond Jig" Mike nailed the pool with a 25 pound bass and was high hook with 3 keeper bass. Please note that there will not be 1/2 day trips avail during th day on Sat. 11/18. Week of 10/30 Charters: Wed 11/1 Mark Novak and the gang were out nailing their limit of sttripers with live eels to 25 pounds. Pete weighed in th elargest. The guys also mixrd it up with some nice sea bass. Fri 11/3 Dave Aboudi and buddies were back for some awesome fishing action. Dave nailed 17 keeeper tog to 9 1/ 2pounds. It only took 1 1/2 hours fo rth eguys to nab their striper limit on live eels with Dave taking in the largest at 29 pounds. Sat 11/4 "Bluefish Bobby" Gullheaded out with some friends today. "Batman" was high hook with 6 keeper striper sto 27 pounds. Plenty of bluefishin in the mix too. Timmy had high hook honors with tog swinging in a dozen. Sun 11/5 John Daly and crew finally made it out. The guys had their limit on bass using live eels. Pete had 6 keepers to 30 pounds. OPEN BOAT: Tues 10/31 By the end ofth eday the tog bite really turned on. Close to 90 keepers hit th edeck to 6 1/2 pounds. Thursday 11/2 Awesome tog action, close to 200 keepers over the rails. Tangle Chang hit th epool with a 6pounder. Fri 11/3 Decent action with Bum Kim having top honors with a 9 pound tog. Friday night bass Good night with th elimit taken. Tim Mc Dariah winning th epool with a 29 pounder. Saturday night bass Late bite with over 40 keepers over th erails. Kevin won th epool with a 27 pounder. Sunday Plenty of action with tons of short tog mixed in with the keepers. Rich O'Connell won the pool with a 6 pound tog. The gang nailed their limit using line bait then also managed some nice sea bass. The combined effoprts of Uncle Jason and Kieth yielded a nice 44 pound striper. Phil weighed a 32 pounder. Both Kieth and Taylor tied for high hook with 5 a piece. Tues 10/24Brian McCarthy's group came ot this afternoon for some nice bass acion on jigs as well as live eels. Eddie landed the first two keepers. The guys also had lots and lots of bluefish to contend with. Thurs 10/26Dave aboudi and crew came out for a phenominal morning of bass and bluefish action. The guys landed over 30 stripers and lost count on the bluefish with weights to 20 pounds. Even Rob managed to play catch and release with 10 keepers. Fri 10/27Rob Crane and gang were out for some mixed bag action today. Rob was high hook with 8 keeper tog to 8 1/2 pounds. Val was high hook with sea bass. The guys also nailed plenty of bluefish on jigs. Fri nightThe boys from Bayport Fire Department were out for some night eeling bass. Roubel landed the first fish of the night. Bob had two keepers including the pool at 28 pounds. Sunday 11/5 open for a private charter - give the office a call! Open Boat Wed 10 /25 The water was all stirred up today making for a tough blackfish bite. High hook managed to be11 keepers though. Weights to 8 1/ 2pounds today. Fri 10/27Tough togging today, around two dozen keepers. Mr Kim weighed in a 5 pounder to take the pool. A mix of scup and sea bass rounded out the day.
