FISHING REPORT

Mon 6/19
Mikey Waters and the Massapequa Athletic Club guys were out for some fishing action.
Lots of blue fish action. Charlie Jr. nabbed 5 1/2 and 6 pound fluke earning him 1st and 2nd place. Mikey was high hook on stripers with 3 but Charlie Jr. took top honors with his 30 lb striper.

Fri 6/23
Tom Zultowski and the guys from Enecon did some porgie fishing and then diamond jigging for bass and blues. Good fishing with Bill from Pokipsie nailing a nice 20 pounder.
Fri Nite
Night eeling action was decent early with around 20 keepers boated. The pool weighed in at 27 pounds and was caught by Joe S.

Sat 6/24
Jim Polons and his team from PSE&G were back aboard Sea Otter V for some fluking and diamond jigging action. Wayne had the pool fluke at 5.7 pounds. Mark had 3 keeper stripers and the largest came in around 20 pounds.

Brian Whipple and his pals were also out today chartering Sea Otter IV. They got into some good fluke action with Bill weighhing the largest at 4 pounds.

Sun 6/24
Lots and lots and lots of fluke action tday. La took home his limit and the pool winnings with a 4 pound fluke.

Tom Conticello chartered Sea otter IV today and mixed it up. Plenty of action with fluke. Lots of bent poles. Anthony had the pool at 5 pounds and also took home his limit. Chris had his limit up to 3 1/2 pounds. Diamond jigging and bucktailing yielded blues to 18 pounds and Anthony had the biggest striper .

Please let readers know that Sea Otter Iv is open for a private charter on 4/2 and 4/3- give a call!

Sun 6/11 Full Moon Night Bass trip
Very good fishing with over 25 keeper bass landed. Alex Petrenko won th pool with his 27 pounder.

Mon 6/12
Loads of action today. There were some nice sea bass in the mix. Steve "the net cryer" won the
pool with a 5 pound fluke.

Tues 6/13
A repeat of Monday with a tie for the pool. Steve "the net cryer" again and Brooklyn Lou each weighed in 5 pounders.

Wed 6/14
Lots and lots of fluke action today with lots and lots of shorts. Some nice stripers were jigged in the morning as well. Timmy from the "Elsie K" won the pool.

Thurs 6/15
The gang from the Bellmore Fire Dept. took over the baot for some mixed bag action. Nice diamond jigging with
Jim McCarthy nailing a nice 26 pound striper. John managed to edge Jimmy Rose out to take the pool withhis 4 3/4 pounder.

Thurs night Marcus Negron and some pals from Nassau County Highway patrol were out for a private charter of some night eeling action. Good fishing with bass to 30 pounds. Marcus was high hook with 4 keepers.

Fri 6/16
Paul palazollo was out withhis friends for his annual mixed bag charter. Some nice bass actuion diamond jigging with over 15 boated with Don taking the biggest at 20 pounds. Lots of short fluke action as well.

Night Bass
Very good night with around 35 keepers boated and 4 of them being over 35 pounds. The pool winnings were awarded to Sean Miler who nailed a solid 38 pound striped bass.

Sat 6/17
Plenty of fish to conted with this morning. JC and Carrie had 6 keepers. Bernie Malks was the pool winner with a 4 pound fluke.

Sat night
Good bass action tonite. "Uncle' Larry H, Kathy and Mike Farriello each managed 3 keepers a piece. Jennifer Bonboy nailed a 30 pounder and Justin Rastran won the pool with a 34 pound striped bass.

Sun 6/18
The full day trip made a pool winner out of Mr. La with his 7 pound fluke.


Steve Politosky had his group out today for their anual Father's Day fishing charter. livelining porgies was just the ticketto stev's 44 pound beauty of a striped bass. Bart Lester hauled a 31 pounder over the rails.



Please let readers know that there we do not have any daytime 1/2 day trips available for Sat 6/24. Please call for night striped bass reservations.

Week of 6/5

Tues 6/6
Tons and tons of action today. Lots of shorts and about half the fares going home with their limit. Lenny Fehr had the doormat to take the pool at 10 pounds.

Sun 6/11
Lots of shorts again today with a few anglers managing to nab their limit. Tony Vigil won the pool with a 6 pounder.

Sea Otter IV Charters
Fri 6/9
Al Goldberg and crew had some good bass and bluefiah action going with plenty of short bass and around 8 keeper stripers. Switching to fluke the gang had some decent picks with fish to 7 pounds.

Sat 6/10
John Gaynor and his group returned to mix it up. Lots of bluefish action. John nailed some nice sea bass and "Oven Stuff" Rich was the pool winner for the day.

Sun 6/11
Bill Reph chartered the boat for a half day trip today for a great group of Boy Scouts. The first keeper of the day went to Liam MCCarthy and our fluke pool winner was Dave Berlino from Pt. Jeff.

Please note that Sea Otter Iv will be operating our full day trip on Thurs 6/15.

Week of 5/30


Wed 5/31
Mix of some stripers and some fluke today. Phil Sehnwll landed 2 keeper stipers on jigs and Joe Masiera had the pool fluke at 6 pounds. Some sea bass are showing up as well.

Thurs 6/1
Tough fluke bight but 91 year old William Gallagher managed to nail the pool with his 7 3/4 pounder.

Sat 6/3
Pat Grace and his crew from Peconic Ironworks were out aboard Sea Otter V today. Mixed day of stripers and fluke. Diamond jigging landed around 17 keeper bass with Greg Faeisziwiski nailing the largest at 21 pounds. 12 year old Brandon Maloney was the fluke winner with his solid 6 pounder.

Sat night stripers with live eels for bait was met with wind and a strong tide resulting in tough conditions. Tom Clougherty was the pool winner for the night with a 35 pound striper he also was high hook with 3 bass.

Sun 6/4
Cathy Diamond and Mike Pehrsson chartered the boat today and experienced some good diamond jigging and a very good fluke bite late in the day. Margaret jigged herself th epool bass at 19 pounds. Mike was high hook on fluke and Regis won th epool with a 4 1/2 pound fluke.

Aboard the Sunday full day open boat there were plenty of shorts to contend with a pick of keepers with a good bite late in the day.. Bum Kim won the pool with a 6 pound fluke. Some sea bass were also in the mix today
