Sat 1/28
Amidst some pretty rough conditions, we had 15+ keeper cod and a mix of ling and pollock. A 10 lb pollock won the pool. Pesky dogfish still running interference.

Fri 1/13
Headed out today for a mixed cod trip. Ended up with around a dozen keeper cod and had similiar results with the blackfish. Emil Kennedy nailed a nice 9 pound tog. We had some good numbers of ling come over the rails as well. Unfortunatley had to deal with dogfish activity today too.
The rest of the weekend trips were cancelled due to the weather but we'll give it a go for next weekend. Call for reservations as we'll sail 5AM, Friday thru Monday.

Sat 1/7
Today there was a mix of blackfish, some keeper cod, including the pool fish caught by Bob at 10 1/2 pounds. There also were plenty of silver eels around, up to 20 pounds, sea bass and porgies.
We ended the day with a lot of ling.

Sun 1/8
Slow on blackfish today. Again some keeper cod with Capt. Vinnie bringing the largest over the rails at 13 pounds. Tons of ling hitting the deck today as well. Good action.

Please let all readers know that starting on Friday 1/13, Sea Otter V will be sailing Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon BY RERSERVATION! Please call 668-2669. We will also be departing the dock at 5AM for these Cod/Mix days.
