FISHING REPORT

Week of 11/21
Mon 11/21
Good blackfish day today. 16 fares and over 100 keepers. A mix of cod and close to 100 giant begalls (cunners) as well. bum kim stole the pool with his 10 pound tog.

Sat 11/26
Headed out for the afternoon and got into a good herring bite. The pool was a 20 pound striper caught by Larry Cash.

Sun 11/27
La and Bum Kim nailed their tog limits today. Decent blackfish catch with a mix of begalls and sea bass. The pool was a 7 1/2 pound tog caught by Brian Mandelbaum.

Charters:
Saturday 11/26 Chuck Gifford was out with some guys . They started th day livelining herring with excellent results and switched into some blackfish action.. Kenny was high hook with 7 keeper bass. Manny steve had 5 keeper bass and 9 keeper blackfish. Bob hit his limit on blackfsh while Greg won their pool with an 8 pound tog.

Sunday 11/27
Livelining herring was the way to go today as Kevin Daniels and his crew quickly nabbed their limit on stripers. Greg was high hook with 11 keeprs. Anthony nailed 7 keepers to 25 pounds. The guys also did some blackfishing with Mike winning their pool with a 9 1/4 pound tog.

Please let readers know that it looks like the herring are finally in so our Saturday 1/2 day trips will now include livelining for stripers.

Week of 11/15
Decent black fish pick beginning of the week. A pair of 10 pounders were swung over the rails.
Hearst Mills managed to pull in a nice 15 pound cod.

Sundays blackfish trip was very good with over 150 keepers hitting the deck.. johnny "Smokes -a -lot" nailed a 9 pound tog to capture the pool.

Mon 11/7
Good tog action today with Freddy Russo high hook with 20 keepers up to 9 pounds! (only took home his limit). Managed to mix in some nice bass and blues action on diamond jigs.

Tues 11/8
Brooklyn Lou took top pool homnors with his largest blackfish weighing in at 8 pounds. Excellent action today with over 150 keeprs boated. A mix of keeper cod and sea bass as well.

Wed 11/9
Good action again togging. Fish to 9 pounds. Nice mix of cod and sea bass again.

Thurs 11/10
weather kept us at the dock.

Fri 11/11
Steve McCay headed out with his buddies today to try their luck at some bassing. The guys toughed it out and mixed it up with diamond jigging and live eeling. Billy nailed the 1st keepr of the morning and Kevin nabbed their pool with a nice 20 pound striper. unfortunately tough weather conditions forced us to cut it short to a half day trip.

Sat 11/12
The Atlantis Angler Fishing Club headed out for their annual blackfish charter aboard the big boat. Good day with Artie capturing top pool honors with a 9 pound tog. Over 140 keepers were landed. Rich had 6 fish to 6 1/ 2pounds and Paula nabbed 5. Reed nailed 5 keepers as well as 9 nice sea bass. rich weighed in a nice sea bass at 5 pounds.

Sat night stripers
Although it took awhile for the bite to turn on the night enede with over 40 keepers landed. Mark Snyder had 5 keepers and Desi Menedez won the pool with anice 30 pound striped bass.

Sun 11/13
Tougher conditions today but a bunch of nice tog were landed along with some sea bass and a few cod. On the last drop of the day there were a good load of cunners coming over the rails to 3 1/2 pounds. Tog pool winner was Bum Kim with a fat 11 pounder.

Week of 10/31
Mon 10/31
Excellent blackfish day with over 200 hitting the deck. Almost everyone limited out. We also had a nice mix of cod and sea bass today. Kevin Ho won 1st place pool honors with a 10 pound blackfish.
Tues 11/1
Decent blackfishing today with averages of 5 fish per man. Injun Joe Lall won the pool with a 10 pound tog!
Wed 11/2
decent tog action in spite of the conditions. A few sea bass were also mixed in,Mike Fertitta won the pool weighing in a 9 pound blackfish.
Thurs 11/3
Some tough wind blowing in today but the bite remained good. Black fish were landed to 9 pounds. The pool winner was Vinny V. who nabbed a 6 pounder.
Fri 11/4
Morning diamond jigging action was decent with numbers of bluefish as well. Pool fish weighed in th e mid teens.
Fri night bassing was very good with Paul Lividanes winning the pool with a 23 pound striper.
Sat 11/5
Nice bass action on the morning trip. Good bite with tons of blues. Pat Cahill won the pool with a 24 pound striper. The afternoon produced similiar action with a 17 pound poool winner nabbed by Tom O.
Sat night
Live eeling was decent this evening with over 35 keepers coming over the rails. Edith Diaz had 3 keepers as did Justin Orlando. Dan and Dave had 4 keepers each. Anglers took home their limits. Bart was our pool winner with a 26 pound striper.
Sun 11/6
Tougher bite today with Rob Crane winning the pool with an 81/2 pound tog.
Private Charters:
Tues 11/1
Bob Lawless and the Diamond-Blu fellas came out and did some tog and striper fishing. Around 40 keeper tog came over the rails. Trolling for bass yielded stripers to 20 pounds.
Wed 11/2
Mikey Waters and his F.D. buddies from Massapequa came out and mixed it up with bass and tog. Vinnie showed the rest how it was done waiting until the 4th quarterto nail 3 keepers in the last drifts.. Meanie nailed the first 2 keeper blackfish. Capt. Joel got in on the action capturing tog to 9 1/2 pounds.
Sat 11/5
Ray Maggiore came out with friends to spend the day striper fishng. It was an awesome day combining live eeling and diamond jigging. Joe Bignatarr nailed a nice 32 pounder. Mark and Ray had 4 keepers each, Kenny, Joeand Ed Sr. each had 3.
Sun 11/6
Bob Miskevitz and friends mixed up the striper action today with some tog fishing as well. Bob nailed his biggest bass to date nailing a nice 33 pounder. In two hours of blackfishing the 4 guys boated over 30 keepers. Rich weighed in a nice 8 1/ 2pounder. John was high hook with 10 keeper tog to 7 pounds.
