Mon 7/25
Tough winds today. Mary Gebrin won the pool with a 6 1/2 pound fluke.

Tues 7/26
Mark Ridgwell nailed a 9 1/ 2pound fluke today.

Wed 7/27
Kevin Roletter was the pool winner today with a 6 pound fluke.

Thurs 7/28
The pool winner was Frank McCullagh with a 6 1/2 pound fluke.
Fri 7/29
Night Bass had Billy Schulken with a 44 pounder. Mike Golini had 3 keepers one which tipped the scales at 34 pounds. Bobby had a 31 pounder.

Sat 7/30
The morning bite was decent with a 3 pound fluke winning the pool by Pete from Poland. Ray Roviti snagged the afternnon pool at 3 1/2 pounds.
Night -
Tough night. The pool winner was Kathy Fronuch with an 18 pounder.

Sun 7/31
Valenyn Perasimchuk was here from th e kraine and had a great day. Bagged his limit of fluke and won th epool with his 7 1/2 pounder. He also had a 5 1/ 2pound sea bass. He beat out Doc Savage for the pool, Doc had a nice 7 1/4 pound contender.

Mon 7/25
Good night bite with Bob Sulivan and friends out for some eeling action. Close to 2 dozen keepers. Jimmy won the pool with a 28 pounder.

Thurs 7/28
A group from Microsoft came out for a half day trip for bass caught on live bait. Gary won th e pool with a 21 pounder.
Fri 7/29
Jimmy Longstreet came out for th edays to live line bait for bass. Nice action. Tess had a 35 pounder, Ricky nailed a 33 pounder and Ted had a 31 pounder.
Fri Night
Engine 298 was out for some night action. Billy Schulken, not in th epool had a 44 pounder. Mike Golini had 3 keepers one which tipped the scales at 34 pounds. Bobby had a 31 pounder.
Sat 7/30
The whole gang was out from Livingston Electric on board Sea Otter V for a private charter. Lots of fun with Rob high hook on scup and his dad, Bob winning th epool fluke.


Please let readers know that Sea Otter IV will be running th efull day trip onb Sun 8/7.

Mon 7/18
Not much drift today but John Luk had good luck when he won th epool with a 6 pound flattie.

Wed 7/20
Good day today with Paul Ryan winning the pool with a 6.7 pound fluke only eeking out his 6.6 pound fluke.

Thurs 7/21
Excellent fluke day with th eboat limiting out! Good mix of sea bass as well. Tim Lawrence won the pool with a 61/2 pound fluke.
fri 7/22
The night bass trip hadvery good results with nice quantity coming over the rails. The pool winner was Ari Malzman with his 30 pound fish.

Sat 7/23
Good fluke action. Mr Booklea won th epool with a 61/2 pound fluke.

Sat night bass bite was very good. 11 y/o Brandon Fight showed everyone how its done by bringing 4 fish over the rails! The pool fish was at 38 pounds and won by Dan O'keefe.

SEA OTTER IV CHARTERS:
Mon 7/18 Rob Crane and friends chartered for a mixed bag day. No dissappointments with a mix of fluke (everyone got their limit) , sea bass to 6 1/2 pounds and scup. Rich "the machine" nabbed his fluke limit in one drift! Rob Crane was high hook in all categories.

Wed7/21, Thurs 7/22, Fri 7/23 Nights
Al Dudas and his group of family and friends were back this year to take advantage of the July Full moon with 3 nights of fishing. Some really good action with limits taken all e nights. Highlights include close to a dozen and a half fish over 30 pounds. Thursday night they nabed a 40, 40 1/2 and a 42 1/2 pounder. The latter caught by Rusty.

Sat 7/24 Ed Schoenweiter and his pals headed out for some shark fishing. A real nice mako came through the slick but wasn't interested. They brought in a 90 pound blue shark.

Sat night - Glenn Ophoff and friends chartered for some nightime action on lkive eels. Greeat night with the limit taken. A few fish in the 30 pound range. Anthony, Capt. of the Sea Queen nailed a 40 1/2 pound cow but it was Laura Ophoff who took top honors with her 45 1/2 pounder!

Mon 7/11 Good fluke bite today with "South Side" Kenny limiting out with fish to 6 pounds. Richie "Straws" Maggio managed to nail a nice 9 pounder to win the pool. Also some nice sea bass to 4 pounds were in the mix.

tues 7/12
Very excellent fluking with the boat taking in its limit. Sea bass to 5 pounds were brought in. The pool was tied by two 7 pounders decked by Bob Gull and david Harrisson.

wed 7/13 Night stripers saw some slow action but Joe Riewerts managed a nice 20 pounderto take home th epool winnigs.

thurs 7/14
Excellent fluke bite with the boat nabbing its limit. Some nice sea bass also came over the rails to 4 pounds. Th e pool was won again by Richie "Straws" Maggio and his 10 pound doormat.

sat 7/16 The morning provided some very good fluking with th e pool winner John M. with a 6 1/2 pound fluke. The afternoon a bit less action butJimmy pulled out a 5 1/2 pounder to take the pool.

sun 7/17 Excellent fluking with th eboat easily taking in its limit. Captain Vinniw was on and played catch and release with over 20 keeper fluke. Th epool winner was Mrs. Kim with a 6.2 pound fluke. Nice sea bass again.

mon 7/15
Dave Harrison and family came up from Georgia for a half day of bass action. Fished for porgies first then livelined. A nice 30 pounder was brought in by Frank.
Thursday 7/14
Ken Woods came out for some 1/2 day fluke action. Ken had fish to 4 1/2 pounds also nabbing his limit. The afternoon charter took us to Block Island to pick up the vacationing Charlie Parisi and family. Fair mix and of fluke and sea bass for the gang.

Fri 7/15 Rich Marchitelli and buddies came for a full day fluke-a-thon. Andy and Rich had their limit and there were some sea bass to 3 1/2 pounds. Captain Joel nailed an 8 1/2 pounder and a paitr of sixes on the Al goldberg special "Bucktails".

Sat 7/16
The boys from Rosyln Hifghlands Fire Deoartment were out for some great fluke action. Jim Goolsby Jr. took home his limit but it was Jim Sr. who won the pool with a 7 1/2 pound fluke.

Sat night
Randy Donnelly and friends headed out for some night striper action. Matt Donahue nailed their pool with a 32 pounder.
Sun 7/17
Joe Sortino and buddies headed iout for an afternoon of fluking. Good fishing with Dennis and Joe taking their limit. Therer were also some nice sea bass in the mix to 3 pounds. Eddie won their pool with a 7 1/2 pounder.

Please let readers kno wthat this week we have added Thurs night 7/21 as a full moon striped bass trip at 7pm - reservations a must!

Tues 7/5
Very decent bite especially on incoming tide. plenty of shorts in th erips/ Roy Caradonna nailed th epool with a fluke at 7 pounds.
Wed 7/6
Awesome fluke action in th erips. Th eboat had its limit and a bunch of sea bass too. William Baek won th epool with a 6 pound flatttie.
Thurs 7/7
Fought east wind against the tide all morning. Mr. Diwa won the pool with a 4 1/2 pound fluke.
Fri 7/8
Weather cancelled all trips.
Sat 7/9
Good bite in the morning. Jessie Fisher won the pool with a 4 1/2 pound flattie.
Sea Otter IV Charter had a special trip today for porgies. In memory of Roger Fitzgerald, family and friends got together and fished for the day in his honor. 10 year old Hunter Freel nailed his first striper ever and managed to be high hook with scup. Amanda Connell won th epool with her porgy at 3 pounds.
Sat night Glenn Browning and buddies chartered the boat and had some good action in th eEast Rips. Mike Owens was high hook with 4 keepers to 27 pounds. The pool winner was John Owens with a 30 1/2 pound striper.
Over on the party boat they also had a good night with 6 fish coming over the rails around 30 pounds. Montauk's own Kathy Kronuck won the pool with a noce 33 pounder.

Sun 7/10
Sea Otter V had some good morning fishing with Ace Moon winning the pool with a 7 1/2 pound fluke. It was Squirt who had the most interesting catch - a keeper bluefin on a diamond jig!
Sea Otter IV had Robert Metz and friends out celebrating the last few weeks of his bachelorhood. Some fluke action and Bob from Florida took their pool with a 5 pounder.

Mon, 6/27
Good bite today with high hook Mr. Park with 9 keeper fluke. Hiro won the pool with a doormat at 10.1 pounds!

Tues 6/28
Some decent fluke actin today down the south side with a few sea bass mixed in to 3 1/2 pounds. Tommy Etan won th epool with an 8 1/ 2pound flattie.

Wed 6/29
The morning conditions were a bit tough but got good during the incoming tide in the rips. High hook was Young Kim with 10 keepers. Katie Leining from Austin Texas won the pool with a 4 1/2 pound fluke.

Fri 7/1
Action on the South side. Pool fish was won again by Kenny Donnelly at 5 pounds.

Sat 7/2
The morning pool was taken by Ken Woods Sr. with a 4 pound flattie, the afternoon was won by Dave Aboudi from NJ who had 4 1/2 pound fluke and went home with his limit.

Sat 7/2 night bass
Tom "Starfish Bait" Demarinis had his limit including a 28 pounder. Kathy Kronuch had 2 keepers as well. Tony Catalfamo from Locust Valley nabbed a nice 26 pounder.
