SATURDAY 2/19/05

FISHED SOUTH EAST OF BLOCK ISLAND. OVER 40 KEEPER COD CAUGHT WITH SOME LING
MIXED IN. HARSH WEATHER TODAY WITH FREEZING TEMPERATURES AND ICY
CONDITIONS. JOHN THOMAS WON THE POOL.

Sun 2/13
A tough bite for cod and a mix of ling action. Ki Dowg had a 12 pounder to win the pool and lenny had an 11 pound cod.

Sat 2/12
Tougher fishing today with a hard running tide and rough weather. Zino from Long Beach was high hook with 6 keeper cod and he nabbed the pool weighing a nice 31 pounds! Bob Sullivan aka Hot Hands had a good bite going on ling with 9 keepers.

Mon 2/7
Over 45 keeper cod landed today as we fished SE of Block Island. The highlight was Lloyd Malsins pool winning 32 1/2 pounder. BJ Lizza was high hook with 6 keepers. Some ling and pollack in the mix as well.

Sun 2/6
Fished SE of Block today , with a real good A.M. bite. Over 100 keeper cod over the rails along with a good number of ling. High hook was Jay Chou with 8 keepers. Bill Swill had 7. Montauk's own Kathy Kronick hit the pool fish at 15 pounds. It had some competition as a few others were close contenders.



Sat 2/5
Fished SE of Block Island today. Good results decking around 80 keepers. Some ling action as well. Joe Freel won the pool with a 13 pound cod. Bill #1 and Bill #2 as well as Scotty nabbed 5 keepers each. Billy Schulken nabbed 6. Frank Kilanowski managed his first keeper cod ever and nailed 6 of them!
