FISHING REPORT
Sat 1/28
Captain Joel reports today as the best day yet of the season. He fished SE of Block, decking over 140 keeper cod. Scotty was high hook with 14 keepers and he won the pool with a 15 pound cod. Billy Schulken hauled 10 keepers over the rails as did Tony Vigil. In between helping customers, Captain Vinnie managed to nab 14 keepers for himself. Good numbers of ling over the rails as well to 5 1/2 pounds.

Not quite as good as yesterday. Headed to same grounds. Orlando Contignola won the pool with a 10 pound cod. Jr Saccente mamaged 4 keepers.Plenty of shorts over the rails with some anglers pulling in as many as 10. Ok ling action with Joe Kocinski being the Ling King with 10.
January 16th
Headed out today to Coxes Ledge and SE of Block. Conditions held up until midday then quickly deteriorated. About 2 dozen keeper cod and good numbers of shorts thrown back. Pollack and ling in the mix. Billy Schulken won the pool with a 24 pound cod and had 4 other keepers.
Sun 1/9
Nice trip results towards SE Block and Coxes Ledge for the cod combo. Mike Lolitto nabbed a 25 lb cod and Ricardo Marques nailed a 19 pounder. Over 40 keeprs hit the deck. We also had some nice blackfish to 8 1/2 pounds as well as a mix of ling. We also pulled some pollack over the rails with Joe Kozinski weighing a solid 15 pounder.
We will run the combo trips on Fri, Sat, Sun and Monday by reservation only As we limit the # of passengers please call early to ensure a spot.

First cod trip of the year was deemed a success with keeper cod to 16 pounds and a fair amount of shorts. Fished Coxes Ledge and various points SE of Block island. Lots and lots of ling coming over the rails (over 200). Some pollack in the mix as well to 17 pounds. A few drops had us deep in dog fish too. Brett Weinberg had a 16 lb cod. Greg Pace brought 3 pollack over the rails to 17 pounds. Starting next weekend (1/8 and 1/9) going foward running cod on Sat and Sun 5AM - reservations a must! Blackfish on Fridays and Mondays 7AM, again reservations necessary.
